The IREL solution consists of the IREL radiation monitoring device which has the necessary sensors to calculate the radiation level of the environment in which it is placed. The data obtained is send to the remote server using GPRS technology. This device will enable scientists to monitor real time radiation levels of hazardous environments without manually going into the area. The device is battery powered and can be recharged for prolonged usage.
